Illegal immigration problem solved
Worry warts, including racists, need no longer be concerned about immigrants swarming in from Mexico.
Here is the beginning of the news story that surely will lay those worries to rest:

MEXICO CITY - Mexico’s Congress approved a bill Friday decriminalizing possession of small amounts of marijuana, ecstasy, cocaine and heroin for personal use — a measure sure to raise questions in Washington about Mexico’s commitment to the war on drugs.
The only step remaining was the signature of the president, whose office indicated he would sign it.
So, why will they be coming to America, the United States part, when life in Mexico is going to be so much more pleasant?
At the same time, a lot of the United Statesians we don't want will surely be encouraged to move south.
Adios, amigos.

Want to turn immigration to emigration?
Just keep raising the minimum wage. As the rest of the
pay scale inflates accordingly, the rest of our jobs
will be driven to China, India, and Mexico. Then we
can all emigrate seeking work. Hmmmm. I have a degree
in Agriculture - maybe I could get on as a gardener in
Acapulco.

Can't you just see it, the very height of one-up-manship in Baja: "Ah, si, neighbor mio, I have a gringo gardener. You mean you don't?"
I wonder if the Mexican food restaurants are as good there as they are in Georgia and Florida?
And, Joseph, you are indeed right about the moronic and demagogic minimum wage laws.
As Morrison's Dictum says, There is no problem, or perceived problem, that can't be made worse by some government trying to fix it.
Buena suerte, amigo.

Chemical pacification worked in China-why not Mexico!
I can`t agree with your turning la mesa`s on them; all those American gardeners in Baja will get fired for laziness after a week, and the Mexicans will have to import labor from Guatemala! (Present company excepted, Joseph.)
Aye Carumba! You can`t win!
